The year and place: 1920's Paris
Time: The blue hour..........
Music: Mozart Lacrimosa
Mood: Anticipatory with a palpable sense of romance
Scent: The lightest hint of freesia wafting gently through the air rising from the vantines incense burner.
A conversation starts with the mundane details of the day, and as the air cools and it grows ever darker outside the talk turns to more important subjects.....Such as dreams.....and hopes...and the deepest desires of the soul.......
Tonight is a French dream to be remembered and savored......tomorrow.
Thank you for stopping by and letting me indulge in my French fantasy *winks*
I hope you'll come back next week for Flea Market Finds.
And please leave me a comment and I'll do the same.
I LOVE to hear from you!

It is such a pleasure to meet you! Thank you so much for your very kind comments on my blog. I'm very happy when someone finds a bit of inspiration! Well, let me tell you, as a lifelong Francophile, your blog is pure pleasure. Thanks to the wonderfully talented Jennelise, I have discovered your blog to my delight! What a gorgeous "petit chateau"!!! Just stunning. I love the piano corner...everything, the piano, the plant, the sparkles, the tasseled shawl, the PEACOCKS! Wow. Like stepping into a dream. Bravo!
I'm so looking forward to following your posts...Merci!
Blessings to you,

You know I admire your eye for selecting treasures my dear Vanna, but my mind was more immersed in the mood and the words you selected to set the tone, the mood. You have a way with words and got me going on the fantasy. Then I went back and carefully, with a more keen eye, looked over all your treasures and relished that collection of incense burners and your light fixtures.
I think you're on too something here darling, I love it when you write and take us on a little "flight of fancy"
Your friend,
Trinidad
Vanna, this is not delusional, its fabulous! Your living room should be in a magazine or something. You really have a flair for decorating in this style. I can almost hear the music playing and smell the fragrance from the freesia in the room. Thanks for the fantasy.......

Dahlin', you simply must get your boo-tay to Virginie, as you and I are sisters separated at birth. We fancy the same frou-frou, and there's much to be had 'round these parts. Ponder it for a bit, okey doke?
