Dreamy Shabby Chic Cottage.

I'd like to take you on a tour of the shabby chic cottage of one of my dear friends. There are MANY pictures so settle in for a good looky!

My girlfriend and her husband rent this house but that hasn't stopped her from creating a wonderful warm welcoming home!

I absolutely LOVE the shabby chic style! And her house is chock-a-block full of wonderful treasures  she's collected that make me drool! So I thought you might enjoy seeing them too. *winks*
So come on and lets take a look see..... We'll start in the livingroom. I think a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll just let you browse....

Killer pelmet piece!!

Love this angel!!
Music area of the livingroom. I love how she uses carpets as wall art.

Her darling little pomeranian is a star!

Oh how I'd LOVE to have a harp like this! It's one of my absolute dream pieces! I do already have the harp case so I'm ready!.....just sayin'.....*winks*

This lovely nude beauty now lives at my house.
Dining room.

Bling-o-licious chandy!!

Guest room with beautiful paintings!

Dressing room/closet. My girlfriend had one of the bedrooms turned into her own personal boudoir. I wish I had enough spare bedrooms to have one too! *winks*

And a lovely alabaster bust...be still my heart!
Every girl needs a beautiful full length mirror to primp in don'tcha think?
Pretty hats.

Great accessories.

Master bedroom. Love the bed!

Gorgy chandelier.
Bathroom.

Outdoor patio.
Isn't this an amazing space?!

Yard statuary.

Fab garage studio/atelier.

And I'll close the tour with this amazing door with surround that she found on craigslist for a song! Some girls have all the luck! *winks*
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the tour. If you'd like to see some more shabby beauty, and take a peek into yet another fabulous abode please check out my post on my cousin's cool shabby chic apartment HERE.
And if you're still in the mood for more? You can check out the link to my shabby pink-n-white-bedroom HERE *winks*

I hope you'll leave me a comment and I'll do the same. I LOVE to hear from you!

Holy canonli your friend has a stunning home! How in the world can you ever pick a favorite part? I managed! I love the fireplace, the closet with all her clothes and shoes on display and the pomeranian. Having a pom myself, I might be a bit biased, especially since they're both blondes.
There are some truly amazing pieces of furniture, statuary, mirrors, artwork and knick knacks too! What eye candy!

I hopped over to see your cousins home as well and it's just as beautiful. I could see myself living there much more easily. Maybe your friends home is too grand for me. I could have nightmares about dusting it all! Have a great weekend Vanna and thanks to your friend for sharing her home with us.

I was reading one of your older post, where you received the stylish blogger award and was telling things about yourself, and I see that we have a few things in common, I'm shy too, I'm a big animal lover, and have recuses too, don't know about living in France, but would LOVE to visit there.

Vanna, Thanks for sharing your friends wonderful home. It is so amazing that this is a rental. Everything fits in perfect and it is such a great space for her things, especially the outside space and the garage. Who would believe it. I had a gold cornice, pelment piece just like that one when I had my store in St.Louis. I sold it and it was shipped out of town, you should ash her, you don.t think it would be the same one? Her things are really a nice mix, unlike so many who do the Shabby Chic look, they leave out the Chic part. She has so much Chic and it is all wonderful. I had a ha2rp, sold it, been sad every since. I am working on another, found one, just have to come to terms with the owner on how much he wants, then rob the local gas station to pay for it. Love this post. Beautiful home! Oh Vanna you know I love your friend's homes!!! Wow does she have a great style- and you both have so much in common with your great finds!!!

How did your hunting go this weekend? I am sure you found some beauties for us to ooh and ahh over!

Had a beekeepers luncheon here today then off to camp tomorrow so now hunting for me- I have so much to work on that I really shouldn't go looking for more till I get some of this out of the way- but that's no fun!- Will take Ashton back to NM next weekend and may stay for a few since the last trip was all business and no pleasure seeing friends. Bill won't be with me so I can stay longer hopefully.

It has been very warm here- 90's- sure wish some of that rain you all had would make it's way down to our part of the country!

Say Hi to your sweet hubby for us!

bee blessed
