A few years ago I joined the site Rate My Space. There I shared many of the rooms in my home and met so many wonderful people!
The other day I decided to take a trip down memory lane and read some of the lovely comments that had been left over the years, only to find that all my spaces had been deleted!
I had the various spaces linked on my sidebar. Alas never to be found again. *sighs*
Soooo I'll be sharing my rooms here on my blog starting with my Shabby guestroom. It's encountered quite a few changes since the RMS days. Hopefully for the better?
This could take a wee while so you might want to get yourself a nice cup of tea or coffee ...or even better wine *winks* and settle in for LOTS of pictures!
I'll be moving clockwise around the room so come on and follow me and I'll show ya around! *winks*
This is the room overview...
Large white antique mirror for pretty primping...
This is the newest addition to my shabby room, a chippy old wicker bed corona (found last week at a yard sale for $10) I wanted to use this as a shelf for displaying some rose paintings. However it just wasn't strong enough so I had to make do for this photo-op *winks* Whatcha think? fine or flop?
Close up.
This french floral sconce sits at the top of the mirror. I love its delicate beauty.
My lovely Marie dress form. One of my favorite things in the room!
French armoire...
Filled with all kinds of linens and treasures......
Come a little closer and take a peeky poo....
A favorite little french lamp.
The lady in green is the newest addition to my boudoir lady lamp collection.
Isn't she sweet?!
In the corner lies a victorian tete a tete chaise that I won at an auction. Fell in LOVE! Had to have it! Despite its shabby condition *winks*
A little pause for a spot of tea...
Italian stacking tables in cream with dreamy florals.....
And above is a shelf filled with my small Norah Wellings doll collection.
The little brown pixie is one of my favorites!
Who can resist a smile like this???! Their little faces make me happy each and every time I see them!
A shabby chippy garden goddess adorned with rosaries and rhinestones...
A vanity found at the local Goodwill.
This little celluloid box featuring a courting couple still has its original interior brush set on a bed of blue silk.
Above hangs a bronze cherub lamp...
Frenchy bedside table.
Bed corona.
Darling ballet pointe shoes... One pair signed......Against a background of vintage roses.....I want more!!
Can you tell I LOVE roses?! *winks* Naw...to subtle for ya? LOL!
I wish I could've gotten a better shot of this 19th century Vinea hand colored aquatint, but the glass was too reflective so hopefully you'll get the gist?
It has lots of cavorting cherubs which I adore!!
A little shelf filled with some more of my boudoir ladies.
And we've come all the way around. I hope you enjoyed the tour of my shabby bedroom. It's my one room for over the top femininity! Have to consider the poor hubby in the rest of the house! *winks* So if you're a girl who loves things French foofy and poofy? You're welcome to come stay for a visit. I'd love to have you! Sorry boys I just couldn't do this to you! *winks* You might come away with tassels on your ears! LOL!
And as you leave the room this pretty french couple is waving goodbye! And wishing you a wonderful day! Please leave me a comment and I'll do the same. And come back for a visit anytime!

Hi Vanna,
Thanks for popping in my blog. I agree, I love my old chair just as it is with the occassional fabric change! I bought it years ago in Snohomish.
Love seeing your home, always an inspiration.
Say Hi to Mike too.
Hope you folks are good!
Linda
Vanna so wonderful to see this gorgeous room again. Isn't this the room that on RMS you titled it something about haunted using the old mirror reflection? I saved this room and your others in my inspiration file and will have to go back and find them to see all the changes that have taken place. It is gorgeous. Have you had a magazine contact you yet? Your home really needs to be shown off in one soon!
I sold my arbor in my antique booth and spent the day taking it down and cleaning up my booth. I have a window front space and in the summer the door is left open alot and it was so dusty and dirty- had to clean everything. Wonder how long it will stay clean with the billowy weather we are having!
Glad you are beginning to see the sun your way finally!!

Vanna I remember that is where I met you. I was so fascinated with all of the rooms you posted, I had never seen such gorgeously appointed rooms with such an array of collections. You are so talented and have an eye for treasure hunting like no other!xo Kathysue
This guest rooms is so amazing!. The bed looks like it's ready for a princess, but how will she get any slepp with so many lovely things to look at. At least if she sleeps, she will have lovely dreams.
On another note, it's so nice of you to ready this room for my visit.
Wowwowwee! I would never sleep in there. I'll have to stay awake all night admiring and absorbing the beauty of everything around. But someone has to stay with me cause I'd be scared. As much as I love dalls (I collect them too) I am afraid to see them in the dark, lol. This is just so adorable, Vanna. You sure know how to display and put things together. So much eye candy! Oh, John likes the table!...Christine
Oh your mirror and armoire are divine! Thank you for your lovely message by the way, so sweet of you! Warmest wishes from England - Glenda x

Wow, I haven't been to RMS in a long time. I wonder if my spaces have been deleted? Oh well, it's how I met some wonderful friends, including you, and what started me blogging. Love this room! You find the best things. Hope you are having a wonderful summer. Hugs, Kat
Hi Vanna, first off, book that room, I am on my way!! Whooo hoo, I would not leave though LOL. Funny, you and a group of the gals were before my time on RMS, and I don't recall your spaces at all. Hi Vanna...
Just read your sweet note, my friend and had to come right over! Ohhh...I'm sooo glad that I did! Girl, seeing your fabulous frenchy chic guest bedroom sure did bring back alot of memories! We really did have fun at RMS...didn't we! Wow, can you believe that has been over three years ago? Time sure does fly!
Well dear friend, I see several new and different things in this gorgeous room! I love your old, chippy wicker shelf...it's perfect for this room! And...you dressed it sooo beautifully too! Love the painting of the pink roses! Oooh...and all of that fluffy...puffy fabric hanging down the sides of the shelf! Mmmm...yummy, my friend!!! Vanna, you really are such a gifted and talented designer! I always love coming to your place and I still always say that I hope my house grows up to be just like yours...someday!!! Of course, I would just adore getting to stay in this exquisite guest bedroom! I agree with Christine though...I'm not sure if I would get any sleep! I would be so busy "taking in" all of your pretties!!!
Ohhh...and I have one other favorite...although I love it all...but I just love that beautiful cherub lamp that you have on the top shelf of the armoire! I don't recall seeing it before! Love, love, LOVE IT!!! I also love the hanging cherub light that you have above the vanity! Gorgeous!!!
Well dear friend, I am sooo glad that you posted this fabulous room on your blog! I'm so sorry that your spaces have been deleted over at RMS. Wonder how that happened? Hmmm...maybe all of mine have been deleted as well. It has been ages since I have checked! I'll have to go and see! Thanks again for coming by today, Darlin'! I'm glad that you like my new french lady...I knew you would! wink! Hehe! Take care and have a fabulous week, sweet friend!

Vanna, darling..... I love this room as much today as then. I'm sorry it's gone from RMS. I had to rush over to see if my toile room was still there.. hopefully your's will magically appear again. This room deserves to be viewed by millions. How large is the room? You have so many beautiful things in this gorgeous space.. After viewing all your dolls I "hate" that I sold mine in the auction a little over a year ago...oh boo hoo!! Wish I could afford a ticket to head your way. It's been a long time since I've been in your State.. hugs and hugs ~lynne~
I'm smiling Vanna you never cease to amaze me, you have a lot of stuff! But then I read at the end that it's your room to play with as you please so now I understand I'm starting to do the same with my studio. Your pixie dolls up on the shelf, I remember those but for some reason I think they were my mom's, they're cute. I love your corona wish I had one but the husband would never go for it. It was fun to see your own personal space thank you for sharing!
P.S. That bed is made for diving onto it looks so plump and cozy!
Oh Vanna, how could you not have sweet dreams in a bedroom like this. So beautiful and inviting. Thanks for sharing.
Your bed looks sooo dreamy! Love that vanity also. I have been on the hunt for an antique vanity for my daughter's room.
Beautiful!
Vanna, This is such a gorgeous bedroom!! The bedding is amazing and I am in love with the cherub light fixture! I fell in love with your home on RMS and I was one of your regular visitors. So glad I can still see your beautiful home here on your blog.

O-M-G I am drooling and would love to be a guest in your guest room. It is over-the-moon "fantabulous." I have a wicker bed corona similar to yours - (also a wire dress form,) and was stumped on how to adapt it to my style. I now have inspiration! Thanks soooo much for sharing.
Vanna,
