Yeppers it's time once again for Flea Market Finds WHOO HOO!! YIPPEE....yeah whatever....*winks*
I'm going to start with my least expensive find, this cute little cherub boy eating grapes with his goat from the Goodwill for 99 cents. Looks like he was maybe once a lamp base?
Then I added this pretty plate from my now new favorite junk store for $3.99.
Hmmmm still needed something more so I added a cloche and some tiny ballet slippers and voila! I think it's pretty darn cute!
From the same junk store came this cool picture frame with a beautiful couple for $4.
Isn't she lovely? Isn't she beautiful?....Sing it Stevie!
I also found a set of these cute hand embroidered pillow cases for $4.99
And from my friend Nancy at Fete Et Fleur blog's etsy shop I got this darling little demitasse set for $10...sweeeeet!!
If you haven't been to Nancy's blog you are seriously missing out. It is one of the absolute MOST BEAUTIFUL blogs in all of Blogdom! Her photos will take your breath away! Not kidding you may need resuscitation *winks*
As well as this little Minerva medallion for $8.
AND this darling antique picture of a little girls first communion for $5.
I also found myself a coat at the Goodwill. It has a Chanel-esque flavor (to me anyway) and only $14.99.
Then at an antique store I found this victorian iron fireplace surround for $35. I love the caryatids and will be using this piece on my new fireplace in the master bedroom when the hubbs gets around to it *winks*
Close up.
If you saw my post yesterday you saw my newest bust enlargement *winks* A 16" alabaster girl from ebay for $67 (quelle deal!) Her bonnet was a little broken but I don't care. The seller had listed her as unsigned, but when I checked her out she was in fact signed, and strangely by the same exact artist as my last bust purchase from ebay (right behind her) What a coinky dinky! I LOVE her!
And finally this pretty chandelier that came all the way from France from Leeanns shop at Fabulously French blog. It wasn't an inexpensive find at around $200 (with shipping) but I love it anyway and it's headed for my master closet. I'll post pix as soon as it's up.
That's all for this week special peeps. Thank you for stopping by! I hope you'll come back next week for more flea market finds. I'd sure love to hear from you!

Nice finds ! I like what you did with the cloche, plate and cherub. You have better Goodwill stores than we do. I have not been to one here in a long time. It really makes a person wonder where all the good stuff is going that is donated. Hmmmm!!! :(
It's so much fun to see your goodies posted here. I hope you're enjoying them. I want you to know your home and photos take my breath away.
Nancy

Vanna, Idea here! Please host a tour for all of your followers, so we can follow you around and see how, when and where you shop. You brought home a truck load of great finds in one trip????? If I find one in a year I've been happy.......I love all of your goodies, but when I scrolled down to the chandelier for your closet I had to stomp my foot in envy. My redo dream is to have a huge master closet with a crystal chandelier (I'm really happy for you) Well, when I do the redo maybe you can help me locate the chandelier!!!!!!!
Easter Blessings

Lucky you! I want to go to the Flea tomorrow! I sell at antique fairs but hardly have time to shop around. I was in Long Beach and found a few smalls and a few hand painted signs. Looking forward to Remnants of the Past. Greetings to you.

You mean you bought the top items all separately and made that vignette with the ballet slippers? Jeez Vanna you have some kind of talent! I have this thing for Minerva so I’m loving your medallion. It’s always so much fun to see your weekly treasures.

Ms. Vanna, Divine as usual. I think the plate is RS Prussia. It is my favorite and such a deal. I wish I could rob a bank, come with a truck and go shopping with you. Richard at My Old Historic House
I am your newest follower and so happy to be! You are just so creative and the "bestest" shopper I know. How I would adore going shopping with you! The RS Prussia plate paired with the cherub lamp base is a "homerun" in my opinion. Never would I have thought to do this!
Love your finds! The ballet shoes in the cloche is adorable. I still haven't found a cloche! ugh.

OMG, Vanna, Vanna, Vanna, as usual i love ALL of ur flea market finds....But can u guess which is my absolute favorite. I cant seem to pull my eyes from it, and i am finding it difficult to breathe, and think i may need resuscitation, lol......U already know how much i love cherubs, theyre so angelic and sweet, but when combined with a plate filled with garden roses, theyre extra wonderful, add ballet slippers and im simply ga ga......Three things that embody the very style i live by..........what can i say? I love it oh so much!!!!!!!!!!!!........Bonnie
I think we just may have another "Hopeless Romantic" on our hands, lol......Bonnie
You sure had some lovely finds this week, Vanna...I love them all! Thanks for your sweet comment on my doves post!
Holy Toledo you found some good stuff! Love the ballet shoe/plate/dome creation. The lamps, the bust, the coat, the pictures, it's all amazing! I am sure your husband is especially thrilled you've come up with a project for him too!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, at least we got sunshine ONE day!
Holy cow! I'm coming shopping with you! These are all amazing finds... but if I had to choose a fave it would be the bust... Enjoy your lovelies and Happy Easter!

Those prices are obscene! You have such and eye. I too want to go shopping with you..... at your HOUSE! (winks)

Oh Vanna, I cannot believe you paid less than $1 for that boy with the grapes, and I love what you did with the cloche with ballet slippers on top (the roses inside the slippers are wonderful). What an inspiration you are! That bust with the hat is soooo gorgeous ~ even broken, that hat is just THE prettiest thing I've seen on a bust ~ so unique. The fireplace surround is another gorgeous piece, and will be perfect for a fp in your bedroom. Of course, I don't think I've ever met a chandy I didn't love, and this one is no exception. You ARE the shopper extroidinaire. Thank you for linking these fab finds to Fav Things. Love ya, laurie
Wow! Great find. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful day
WOW is right! Those are some beautiful find! Love the way you put together the ballet slippers, plate, cloche, etc. VERY nice. The chandelier is exquisite and I can't wait to see it in all it's glory in your closet. Amazing...you must have one of those Movie Star Closets...LOL!
You must live in an area filled with people with good taste (and money!) You truly find the best things. I'm sure originally many of these items would have a hefty price tag attached. I like it all and I really love those pillowcases. Think of the time involved!
