Pet Pawty at Debbiedoos!!

Today I'm joining the party over at Debbiedoos!

These are pictures of a couple of my fur babies.
Unfortunately the computer that houses my pet pictures crashed and I'm waiting to retrieve them. So I'll have to make do with the few I have.

This is my Shelby Maine. She's 14 yrs old and the sweetest, kindest slow as molasses dog in all of Gods creation!

Here she is on her sofa being a goof!

All of our foreign exchange students love her! Sometimes too much *winks* This is our last student Ai who somehow fell asleep on her. Seriously it has been my experience that Japanese kids can fall asleep anywhere! Must be built into their DNA....But I digress....
Right after I took this shot she looked up at me with the most pleading expression as if to say "Please get her off of me mom" But she's far too polite to just move and wake Aichan up. Awwww that's my sweet baby!

Caught brown pawed! Here she is on a sofa she knows she's NOT supposed to be on! Looking all regal beagle.

And a favorite spot under the table during breakfast. Looks like she could use some coffee! Those eyes look just like her moms first thing in the morning!

This is my youngest Luca Rey. He's a two yr old American Bull Terrier mix....And he's a very pushy boy! But by far the most loving of all my fur baby kids. If for a second you should look sad? He's right there to put his head in your lap and try to cheer you up.
All of my fur babies (4 total) are pound puppies or were unwanted in some way.  I'm very blessed to have each of them in my life!

Luca Rey at his happiest! Safe and secure in Daddy's arms!

Thanks for stopping by!

Vanna this was fantastic. The picture of the young foreign exchange student sleeping made me laugh out loud. What beauties all four of them, and so lucky to find a loving home. Thanks for sharing them with us...I really enjoyed this party!

You know, I love all the little dogs, on God's good earth. Thanks for sharing them with us in Blogland. My Sissy can go anywhere she wants, even though she is not suspose to. Do you think it matters that I say no. Her latest trick is to get on my desk chair and jump up on the counter, to gret, customers right in the face, weather they want to be greated or not.Love your post. Thanks again. Richard and Sissy Dog.

Well, you saw what Napoleon got into yesterday! LOL! Goofy goof! Gracie and I do transports once a month from the high kill shelters in the South to the No-Kill shelters in Wisconsin. I wish I could keep every last one!
I have six kitties that wandered onto my front step at on time or another. I love them so! Faerie Princess, Mabel Peekaboo, Shenanigan, McGillicuddy, Atticus and Frannie.
They were all abused in one way or another, especially Atticus, whose tail had been broken in several places, as well as his little hip. :(
I highly recommend the silica cat litter, by the way. Unscented, so it doesn't have that awful cat litter fragrance. It's made of silica, like the packets that come in your new sho boxes. The crystals absorb the moisture and you merely scoop the solids. A large bucket from PetCo lasts two weeks with six cats! I LOVE the stuff!
Always remember ADOPT DON"T SHOP! Too many pets die in shelters every day and the WAY they die is HEINOUS! Save them!

Awwww, Ai's picture with your beloved Shelby Maine is so precious, so cute! I have one similar of Calvin, Tina's dog (may he rest in peace) and Brendan except Brendan is still small so would not have too much weight....Christine

There's nothing better than a big cuddly dog that will let you sleep on them!!! It makes me want a big dog, then I remind myself that although mine are under 10 lbs, I do have my hands full arleady. :-) Great post!!!

Vanna your fur babies are precious and I'm still smiling seeing that image of Ai and Baby #1. Some of my fav photos over the years have been the ones of our Children and Grandchildren with our various fur babies. We've had Cats and all of ours have been strays, ferals that decided having 'trained' people wasn't so bad after all *wink* or pound fur babies too. Our oldest is now well over 20 years old, as a kitten she wasn't expected to live because she was abandoned and so puny, now she's a massive old beast... don't they say animals grow to look like their owners! *LOL*

Those beaded thingeys intrigued me too... at 1st I thought they were beaded flowers, but upon closer inspection they were hollowed out like chandy bulb covers so I don't know?

What adorable fur babies! I love the one of Shelby sprawled out on her backside and of course, with the little girl asleep on top of her.

Love the fur babies. I adore big dogs a lot. So funny for sleeping on her. Thanks for your comments on my cats. The shelf stand is not meant for the cats, only Tiger who engages it and the other is too small to jump up. It's fun to have pets around.

Awwwww...I adore your fur babies!! They are just the sweetest! Okay..I am half Japanese and I can say that your statement is true as it relates to me. I just LOVE sleeping and can do it anywhere, anytime! Lol

Vanna, I loved seeing your babies. They all look so loving. I can't believe that Shelby Maine didn't get up and move when the little girl fell asleep on her. What a good dog. Great pictures! laurie

Awww, this is the sweetest post Vanna and God Bless you for taking them in. Look how precious these little guys are and you can tell they have a wonderful life... thanks to YOU!

It's always a good feeling to know there are people like you doing the right thing by adopting a pet or saving them from death row. I only wish we had some type of law to stop the madness of breeding dogs and have them all fixed until it's under control because we have to many out there that are unfortunate to a loving home.
